Our job at MELD was to build a brand identity and visual systems that capture the vibrance of Mexican food and culture. To put it holistically, we had to capture El Soul de Mexico,
At the heart of La Condesa’s identity is a logo inspired by iconic imagery from the celebrated movie ‘Coco,’ interwoven with symbols that capture the soul of Mexico.
One of our major inspirations was finding a vibrant colour palette that reflected Mexican culture and food.
This translated into our visual choices, both digitally and in packaging.
Everything packed heaps of flavor and spice.
La Condesa’s typography showcases the Rokkitt family, its handcrafted feel and versatile weights mirroring the handcrafted quality and diversity of the cuisine.
Initially, La Condesa opened as a cloud kitchen, which meant no walk-ins. This meant we had to have a strong digital presence and memorable packaging.
Easily recognizable, and could be placed on any container, even as a sticker.
This made packaging cost-effective and striking.
The consistent illustrative pattern brings the packaging alive to match the same intensity as Mexican cuisine.
Connecting a Bangalore audience with Mexican heritage La Condesa became more than a meal.
It’s an invitation to experience the heart of Mexico.
We finally opened doors, each classic dish:
Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Nachos, Bowls—is lovingly spotlighted.
Slogans like ‘el soul de Mexico’ and playful graphics reinforce La Condesa’s promise:
The consistent illustrative pattern brings the packaging alive to match the same intensity as the flavor from the menu. Together, they give La Condesa a consistent identity and color.
